Cedar and Oak Honey

This very dark colored honey does not crystallize even when frozen. In old Egypt, the pharaohs used to be mummified using the Cerar of Lebanon Resin/sap.

Indeed, the Cedar of Lebanon resin, contains huge amounts of phytoncides and other micro elements of antiseptic, regenerating properties, immune system boosting, as well as cleaning on cellular level and rejuvenating of skin and tissues.

Unlike flower, honey the bees collect the precious Honeydew from insects sucking on the sap of these trees.

The beehives are put in the safety of the few cedar forests reserves, themselves surrounded by a variety of old and robust oak trees.

The taste is almost balsamic with a deliciously mild caramelized sweetness.
