Educational Workshops

Believing in the role of future generations in preserving honeybees, we strive to raise young beekeepers who are passionate, interested, and skilled to be the future of beekeeping and to move it forward.
"The Young Beekeeper Project is a long-standing project that began about 12 years ago. We strive to teach children about beekeeping and the importance of bees and their products in maintaining environmental, health, and food balance. We introduce the social composition of the bee colony, and the products of bees. We focus on how to produce honey, from the hive to the final consumer, passing through all stages of honey production, how to extract it from the hexagonal cells, sort it, filter it, and package it. We also display the tools used and wear the beekeeper's suit. The MedBusinessHub grant helped us develop the workshops and add value to them through educational and entertaining publications and an educational video for children."
